I was looking for some vintage looking tires for my bike project and lamenting the price of Gommitalias, Veloflexs, and the like when I came across these. Anybody have an opinion about their quality?

Wow, those are pretty nice looking, and cheap as well. The shipping seems way too high though, he probably keeps the price artificially low with the that.

If my C&V bike had clinchers I would definitely consider them though.

Veloflex Paves are $36.45 from PBK, free shipping, and a bit wider, which I prefer.

I don't see an advantage to these. Who knows how they've been stored?

That's a really good deal for the Paves. Would jump all over that if it was stateside. Seeing that PBK is in Great Brittan, I don't see how it's possible to ship them free. Unless it takes 2 months via slow boat to China.

I live in california, and almost everyone I know gets their tires for PBK, because they're cheap, shipping is free, and they arrive in 3-4 days usually. I don't know how they do it.

That price for the Veloflex is way cheaper than buying from BikeTiresDirect or direct:

Thanks All! That's the kind of info I was looking for. Screw the Wolbers, I'm buying the Paves from PBK.
Thanks again for the heads-up.:thumb:

Be sure to use the discount code for an extra 5% off. It's either USARBR or RBRUSA. I should remember, I just used it a couple of hours ago for a white Regal.:thumb:

Edit: It's USARBR
