Hey, I'm trying to find that survey that the DOT (I think of NYC) did that showed that among the people surveyed, the number one reason people don't bike to work or school or wherever is because they fear that their bike will be stolen. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have to agree. Local town has bike spaces and If I do go there- the bike is locked with a Kryptonite lock and hawser. But due to the number of bikes that do go Missing- even when locked- I rarely leave my bike anywhere. If my hand or my butt is not on the bike- it is in the bike shed.
