The plums did didly, the cherries not much better and the squirrles are raiding my filberts before there even ripe, but my pears thats a whole nother story, the trees be saggin' this year even after proper fruit thinning. Bartlets and second is an asian pear I lost the tag but I think its Kosui.

Nut thief. I give them all the peanuts they demand (yes they knock on the back door when they're out, even snuck in a few times to scope out the stash) and this is what I get. They chatter at me like its their bloody tree row.

you could just put the trees in your bike shed.

I could, they'd fit(both pears at least), but then I'd have to leave the lights on all day and I just don't think thats cost effective. Besides then I would have plant the bikes outside and they would get all rusty, or I may get lucky and have my very own cycle tree, a whole crop every year, yeaaaaa!

I just about hit that squirrel yesterday after a test ride of my newly overhauled Le Tour, there were 3 of them chattering and dodgeing to and fro in front of me. I was riding there first, they had to come down from the tree to get in my way.
