Introductions - Hi from New Zealand

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am 43yrs and have been cycling on and off since I started racing as a Schoolboy. I have a tandem I have been riding with my wife for the last 18yrs. It is a Bob Jackson. Got a C'Dale a couple of yrs ago too.
Have a few older solo bikes also. Alan, Rossin Ghibli, Holdsworth, Bosomworth funnybike, and a 50th anniversary Colnago which is the only modern one. I enjoy riding all of them and tend to use them all now and again, but the Rossin is the main training bike. Also built a recumbent some years ago and continue to be interested in HPV stuff.
Seems like a great forum and am looking forward to being a part of it.:thumb:

Hi Dean,
You are not the only one here from NZ.
I am Henry, a recumbent cyclist now, previously a mountainbiker before my accident a few years ago.
That was a flying accident but the main thing is that I am on the mend and getting fitter using my recumbent foot propelled trike.
What sort of recumbent did you built?
I might see you at Kiwi HPV meetings?
