My wife and I took advantage of the beautiful (but cold) weather here in Atlanta and decided to go down to Callaway Gardens to ride their bike trail. It was a 10 mile loop which featured some nice scenery. I needed to get some riding in as I have a 30 mile ride next Saturday and for the past week I've been doing nothing but running.

Thanks for the photos. It looks like you had a great time.

And congratulations on having a spouse who rides - and runs - with you. That's something of a rarity on this forum. Mr. Beanz and Gina, and Tom Stormcrowe and Crazylady, are the only such couples who come to mind.

Amazing. You are very fortunate to have an environment like that to ride on. It also is really nice to be able to ride with the spouse. Mine is faster than I am so catching up with her makes for a great challenge.

Thanks for the comments guys! Callaway Gardens is very nice. I recommend the trip there if you're ever in the Atlanta area.

I'll have more pictures from my upcoming ride this Saturday. It's my longest to date at 30 miles.

My mother lives in LaGrange, GA, so I have visited Calloway Gardens many times when we were there visiting. It is a great place, but we usually walk the trails, because we never take bikes with us on the trip and the bikes they have at Calloway are not worth taking out to rent.
