Hi all, I'm finally making the plunge from my comfort/hybrid Trek. I'm currently riding between 12 and 15 miles per day/6 days per week. Durability and comfort are more important to me that speed and lightness.
My LBS does not have a Quest in stock but can order one for me. He said he will upgrade the front triple to a double and the rear cassette to a 12-27. All that for $1299. It seems a good deal to me but there are better deals if I would buy aluminum. Similiar components to the Specialized Allez double Cr-Mo for less money.
Anyone know of a better quality bike with the same features for less? Thx in advance.
