My Saturday ride was fantastic and I don't know if I can attribute it to the recent use of Race Caps or not. I was wondering if anyone has tried them and felt a bump in performance/endurance. I rode 30 miles and as I was a few blocks from the house, felt as if I could easily do another 12 to the beach and 12 to get home. Had it not been for the inevitable Saturday chores, I would have gone for it. But that would have probably resulted in 'drag ass' the rest of the day.

All I ate was one gel along the way and drank a new electolye mix. Half a sandwich of PB and Nutella for breakfast.... I'm hoping that this is not a 'placebo effect' situation.

So anyone with Race Cap info??

Thanks,
Mike

Dont discount the placebo, if it works for you keep doing it. If it is actually helping you is a different story.

race cap?

Personally, I got my ass handed to me Sunday by a 57 year old. He even gave me "the look" as he stood up on our last climb into town.

Ill take a dam case of them.

By reading what hammer has written about them, it's time released and it 'seems' that when i needed it the most (about 50-minutes in) i had more energy than usual. i've tried them twice now and think they are enhancing my rides.

and, i'm not a shill, just a clyde looking for an advantage on my personal riding goals.
