I'd like to figure out a way to do this, and if you've rigged something up, pictures would help.

Putting them on the saddlebags just leads to them falling off when crossing railroad tracks, etc. :(

Jaa, I have. I wrapped strips of old inner-tube around the seatpost (cut to the width of the bracket) to make it round and simply attached the mounting bracket.

I don't use that particular light, but I recently purchased a Planetbike 1 watt light that comes with a Velcro strap. This idea is pretty good as it is completely flexible and easy to move. You might want to try something like that?

I just put mine on my seatstay. They come with the bracket for it.

Thanks for your responses. Unfortunately, both the seat stay and the seat post are aero on this bike (Cervelo SLC-SL - not mine). One of my riding crew has this bike and he's lost like four Superflashes in the past month.

We could probably Zip tie it on, but I was just wondering if someone had something more durable than that.

The taillight rack bracket that Planet Bike sells, could be zip tied to the seat rails, or attached to the seatbag with nuts, bolts and washers.

I still think the velcro strap is the best idea for aero shape. Completely flexible and it can be pulled tight without causing damage to the seatpost/stay. Problem with zip ties is you have to cut if off everytime you don't want to use it or have to change batteries.
