After my 1981 TREK 613 was stolen this summer I felt I couldn't be w/o one of these classic rides in my "Arsenal" so.... Off to the "bay" I went in search of another one, same color but one year younger. Found this one for about $150 and it was complete but in ROUGH shape after sitting for about 15 yrs. Stripped off all components and buffed everything til it gleamed. Touched up the paint and Got new decals from Velocals (Beautiful, but a 6-8 week wait) Clearcoated everything and FINALLY got it back together yesterday. touched up the paint on the BL with new silver and drilled out the big ring on the drivetrain. Shorty fenders may not be very practical, but they're dead sexy! Turned up bars are old alloy cutoffs, with gell wrap pad underneath and wrapped and Baseball stitched in glove leather... Feels NICE! This will be my "go to work" ride for the rest of the school year until the weather gets ugly. Still working on the Supersport but have a pic of the down tube graphics... it'll be called the "Dream-cycle"

Nicely done, you managed to imrove upon the original, kind of. The cow horns and the petite fenders are a nice touch.
