My new bike, my first fixie project. Took it on its first ride today. It's a Schwinn Paramount, circa 1977, with chrome Nervex lugs, set up as a fixed gear. Original equipment included Cinelli bars and stem, Campy seatpost and Phil BB. Had brand new wheels built with Phil hubs, Mavic Open Pros. It rides like silk. Only thing wanting are the cranks -- using an old pair of Campy GS, need some real 70s pista cranks. Will post a photo when I figure out how...
