Mountain - Plains - Denver area frame painter

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm looking for a recommendation for a frame painter or powder coater in the metro area. Anyone?

Would you consider Colorado Springs? We have one of the best Powdercoaters/Painters in the country for bike frames there. Spectrum Powder Works. They do spectacular powdercoat work.

I saw a bike at VeloSwap that was done by Denver Bumper. It looked very nice and the price (which I can't remember) seemed very reasonable. Spectrum in the Springs does top notch work but their prices are also top notch.
Whoops!....I guess I meant Denver Bumper not Denver Muffler
I saw Spectrum's site last night and it seems they do great work. Good to know about the prices. We will call the for a quote. Good to know about Denver Muffler - I'll give them a call as well. The H has found several on line but I always like a recommendation.

I have friends who use Denver Bumper but I have also heard that the quality is so so.

I had Spectrum strip, powder coat (single color), and clear coat my Lemond Zurich 853 frame for $225. It looked absolutely stunning when they were finished. Well worth it IMO. Awesome people to work with, too.
Denver Bumper! 80 bucks! Can't beat it.
