Hybrid Bicycles - Does my newest bike belong in this forum??

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I recently purchased this from a local charity store(like the slavation army store but a local charity) for $10.

IM just wondering if anybody knows anything about this bike?

Its a yokoto Redwood city.

Heres some lousy fuzzy pictures that i took yesterday evening, the frame is covered in surface rust but its cleaning up very well.

Once you get it back together, it looks like it might be ---- we'd like to see those pics as well.

Looks like it. I'd suggest changing the seat; that extra extra wide thing WILL interfere with your pedaling and cause much thigh pain within a half mile.

It sure does! And I too would like to see the completed bike. I think it looks sweet!

Im uploading some pictures right now, but that seat is actually very comfortable. I've riden this bike over five miles without a problem, i may change it out later though, and give the seat to my mom for her cruiser.

sure you cant really tell i did that much to it, but it has cleaned up alot. when i got it there was surface rust on 90% of the bike, to quote my dad "dont get that rust bucket, its not worth ten bucks" lol when he saw what it looked like when it was done he said i got a pretty good deal.lol
