I know I've got a way to go but I'm taking it slow so I can get it as close as I can to "being ready," I also know that only when I take her out on a few tour will I know what "being ready" means. :thumb:

What's that spring/coil thing near the derailleur in the bottom pic? Can't figure it out...

Great work of retro art! I'd be afraid to take anything that pretty out the door.

Nice looking bike! Looks like it needs another water bottle cage, and lower gearing.

Cute kitties.

I don't know why you think you have a way to go. That bike looks ready to do wonderful things.

Wow! :o Thanks for the great comments! I plan on a front rack some day soon, and I'm adding a water bottle cage identical to the one on the bars to her at this very moment! :D

27 inch tires n tubes? Anyone care to talk about how hard those are to get? I have no idea.

I think you'll get mixed replies on that subject, I myself have found that they are just a bit harded to find than 700c's, but not by much, if you look on the web you'll find more than a few places that still carry quality 27' tires. :) I'm lucky enough to have three LBS that stock them. :D
