I grew up in Highlands, on the high ground east of the San Jacinto River. I used to ride on the levee around Highlands Reservoir; I am not so sure that is legal anymore. I live in Bellaire now, and really should plan a route to get out to Highlands to visit my parents and other relatives. Either the Lynchburg ferry or the old Highway 90 bridge would probably be the best crossing points.

I live just south of the reservoir in Highlands. Just wondering if there is anyone else in the town that rides. Anyone want to meet up just say the word.
