Police are on the lookout for a male lycra clad cyclist riding a Mongoose road bike who stormed aboard a city bus and punched the female bus driver in the face, while screaming that he'll teach her to blow black exhaust in his face.

This sounds like the guy who almost slammed into me on the Brooklyn Bridge a couple of days ago. Does he sound familiar to anyone else??

Yeah, I know this story is out of Bisbrain, Scotland...

How ridiculous. If you don't like exhaust being blown if your face at some point then don't ride in urban areas, and even then you can find ways of avoiding it like...umm...NOT RIDING BEHIND BUSES! What a muppet. I hope they find and arrest him.

Exactly. From another report I read, just before the driver got punched in the face, she said to the cyclist "Ride in front of the bus in the future. This way the bus will be in your airflow and that will save the city a few pennies on fuel consumption."

No it's not Brisbane. I rechecked the article and it is clearly Brispain.

(Let's see who takes offense at that misspelling.)

It was less the misspelling and more the fact that you placed it in the wrong country, continent, hemisphere that bothers me.:crash:

+1. I read the "Northeast" forum because I'm interested in local stuff. This thread is noise.
