I have Lance's Twitter on my Google reader and he's been flying up to Appleton once a month for 'meetings'.

Wassup there that Lance is so interested in?

It's pretty obvious. He's planning to matriculate at Lawrence University for the spring semester.

Honestly I can't think of anything up there. Especially something thats worth once a month visits. Actually they make custom jets right at the airport and somebody commented that he was buying one in an online article in the post crescent.

And speaking of Rippin' Good Cookies, Jeff Bumby, the founder of the company was quite the bike enthusiast. He built a number of frames after selling his company in the late 70s, and I managed to pick one up for my wife last fall:

Lance doesn't have a degree. He just likes UT-Austin because it's in his hometown.

Lance was back in Appleton *again* today.

Did anyone catch his appearance on the Tonight Show last night. It was pretty good.

I did happen to see him on the show, which I stayed up to watch solely because he was a guest. He was promoting a book about himself. My wife was quick to point out that Lance dumped his wife of many years, then dumped Sheryl Crow. And in the show, he said he's got a six-month-old son, so I gather he's got another woman. I don't know anything about Lance Armstrong other than what's in the headlines.

Class of '81? I'm class of '77 myself...

Correct answer. He bought a Gulfstream. My son worked on it and was able to get me an autographed copy of his latest book. I don't know if the paint job has been completed but yellow and black colors were mentioned so be on the lookout for a jet with maybe a Livestrong band or a 10/2 scheme on it!

Do you know which one? The web page says the 650 will fly from New York to Dubai with a max speed of Mach 0.9!
