I am going to be in Phoenix for the USC game on 11/7 and was planning on taking my bike for a ride Saturday morning and possibly Friday afternoon. Looking to do 40-50 miles on Saturday, hills if available. Maybe a quick 30 miler on Friday. I will not have a car so I have to start from my hotel which is close to the stadium.

Loop preferable, but out and back okay as well.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Phx Metro Bike Club has a ride every Saturday morning from Kiwanis Park in Tempe. PM me for directions if you are interested.

ride up to papago, then onto the canal. No hills, but its okay (unpaved)

Thanks for the info Larry. I googled it and got the info. I may show up with the group, but it depends on how much consumption there is the night before. in any case I plan on doing the advanced mummy mountain route, either solo or group.
