Just talked to my brother, who is currently an electrician's apprentice (no pun intended), but used to be a phlebotomist. He says that he's 0+, and is fairly certain that I'd be 0+, also, but there's a chance I'm 0-. I really should find out that info. Maybe next month when I go in for follow-up bloodwork I can ask them to check that.

A poll would have been more effective. I'm O by the way. I don't know whether its positive or negative though, just that both of my parents are O, one is negative and one is positive.

Type O Negative (universal donor). Yep, blood donation centers hunts me. :)

Majority of people is O Positive.

Least is type AB (universal acceptor). This of course just for RBC transfusion. For plasma and platelets transfusion, its the opposite for these two types.

37.4% is O+
28.27% is A+
20.59% is B+
5.06% is AB+
4.33% is O-
3.52% is A-
1.39% is B-
0.45% is AB-
