Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - anybody do business with Kaidomain?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was looking at this light, but haven't heard anything about these folks. Any better or worse than DX?

I was thinking of ordering some LEDs and drivers from them but then checked resellerratings.com and saw they had a lifetime rating of 3.6 out of 10. Here's a link to the customer comments. http://www.resellerratings.com/store/KaiDomain
Some reviews are fine but clearly quite a few aren't. It scared me off so I'll be ordering from Cutter and DX. Good luck. Maybe someone with personal experience ordering from them will chime in.

I dont like that they do not have descriptions and are organized worse than DX. That said, I saw they had TwoFish clones for half the price and a few other things that DX is sold out of so I have placed a small order. The selection seems worse than DX, but hope the shipping time is better.
I prefer DX due to the somewhat better website but have got some good stuff from Kai.
I avoid KD like the plague. On order they kept on promising me it was 'packing ready to ship' for weeks. I finally canceled it and got it quickly from elsewhere. Another one they sent me the wrong item and refused to make good on it. It seems their ethics are quite low. In my experience it's just not worth trying to save a few dollars when you don't know when your light will come and exactly what it'll be. Both DX and KD are famous for sending things that aren't the same specs as listed.
Looking at that light you might want to check out the SolarForce L2. Light Hound in the States has them. They ship damn fast, and have good prices. Also, unlike KD and DX their specs are what they say they are.

Here's another US based seller with Solarforce lights. (I'm assuming you're in NA, if not LightHound ships internationally for cheap, I've ordered from them several times and I'm in Latvia.)

There is also Shining Beam, which sells quality lights at good prices with cheap shipping, both domestic and international.

Thanks Z. I was looking at that light because I have one with a R-2 led. The new led is 50% brighter at the same amperage.
