Regarding the defense closing argument. Defense attorney is horrible. The cyclists should have allowed the guy to pass? Hello??? They were already going the speed limit! And the driver to the rear should yield no matter what if he cannot pass safely.

Regarding the prosecution's closing argument. Bravo! Hopefully Thompson gets Bubba's "bat" for the next 50 years.

Regardless of who was going the speed limit, the person in front should allow the one behind to pass WHEN it is safe to do so. That is common courtesy and should be done by bikes and cars alike. I do not think this was a case of cyclists hogging the road though and the verdict is correct.
