The only reason I drink sports drinks is for the calories. If I don't need calories, I drink water.

Only drink it when I don't have my electrolyte tablets around.

Agreed. I passed a gas station on a new route, and stopped on the way back for some Gatorade. It was like a very bad Twilight Zone, with all the shelves in neon colors, but all they had was Powerade Zero and the Gatorade equivalent. It is clear who the gas-station's target demographic is: people who want Brawndo's electrolytes, and those who drink it instead of diet sodas. Not people who actually want a fully functional sports drink.
I got some chocolate milk instead. Somehow I can drink that stuff any time.
