Hi guys, i have a set of Campagnolo Scirocco Wheels that i have an absolutely love and wanted to use on Langster S-works track frameset i'm building up but i cannot find a 24h hubs ANYWHERE!!! the wheels are unique in that they only have 12 holes on each side of the hub... do you guys have any suggestions on what i should do?

i've seen the Surly Fixxer's but their webside also says they only work with shimano hubs..

MACK will make you 24 hole hubs for ~$220, Phil will for more. I've got both and think Mack are higher quality.

You can find some 24h Suntour Superbe Pro hubs floating around, and others, too. They're out there. But your best shot is buying a hub that you can get custom drilled, like Phil Wood or Mack.

note: don't bother with a flip-flop hub. That G3 lacing has a drive side and a nondrive side - the drive side has twice the spokes as the nondrive side. Hence clusters of three. But yourself a single-sided hub for this application.

If you are going Campy triplet, you might as well go with Phil's wider asymmetric flanges on their single cog hubs.

I agree but I thought he said in the OP he had a wheelset not rims. Why not just use spacers on the cassette?

Because he is putting them on a track bike with 120mm spacing, not 130mm they are now.

You can use a 32 hole hub and just not use all the holes. People do that with no problems!

i've heard of this.. should i bring it to a bike shop and ask them to skip the NSEW holes? what does this mean for spoke lengths then? (i'm definately not going to build the wheels myself... but i wanna buy all the parts aand bring em to the shop... or is it relatively cheap to buy the spokes from the shop too?)

the wheels are unique in that they only have 12 holes on each side of the hub...

first, the only hub you have to replace is the rear, the front will work just fine. second (as mentioned) you definitely need a new hub to fit into the 120mm rear spacing. third, i would LOVE to see a picture of your rear hub, because as i've always understood Scriocco's they have 16 spokes on the drive side and 8 on the non-drive side. not 12 holes on each side. that said, you will need a custom drilled hub to accomplish this. i am also not sure (i can't find a picture of the hubs from the drive side) if the 16 holes on the drive side flange are equidistant or if they are paired somehow.

Probably because they're handmade, for one reason.
