I won an Affinity lo pro fork in an alleycat last night. Having trouble finding specs on the internet, and I don't really know that much about forks and headsets in the first place, but I'm wondering if it would work with my KHS Flite 100 frame? A few other couriers I know who ride Flites have had their forks eventually fail, so maybe I could keep this as a backup. Would I need to switch to a threaded headset? Sorry for the newb question, google isn't helping me much.

forks that eventually fail? or do you mean eventually meet the back of a car?

i believe flite 100s are still 1" threadless, as are affinity lo pros. so it should work just fine.

not sure what the rake is on either, but if its different it'll change the handling.

No. I mean lose their structural integrity. Don't remember specifics, but I think there's a weak spot somewhere on the Flite 100 fork that rips under heavy stress. I've been rolling on my KHS for almost a year with no incidents, though.
