I thought it would be a good idea to preview parts of the route for the century planned the following weekend. Also want to see what's around for lunch, water, etc. It'll be about 82 miles and around 4500 feet. 3 good hills, a couple of moderate hills, some rollers and flats.
Leaving at 8:30am from the parking lot just outside Hagan Park in Rancho. Here's the route: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/13318. I don't plan on a brisk pace. 16/17 on flats. I've come to grips with the fact that I'm not a particularly fast rider. We'll regroup periodically when needed. A cue sheet is available on that link, though I'm not sure how accurate it is. It needs checking too.
Add in about 28 miles to the cue sheet for the ride up to where it starts and back via the ARBT (American River Bike Trail).
Anyone interested in joining in?
