i'm watching the interview of LA right now on OLN. then i noticed as they replayed the clip of him riding the Individual Time Trails, i noticed he was wearing a different sunglasses then the one he usually wear. this one looks frameless on top and bottom. anyone know what's the brand and model of it??

thanks.

How about Oakly uglies! Those are about the least attractive sg's I've seen on an athelete.

zero as in the number of points i'd give them on the look-decent-o-meter. seriously ugly glasses. might as well have the dope-boy over-the-skull jobs.

I'm with you. Butt ugliest, overpriced, things I've ever seen. Look like something you'd find on the rack at the "dollar" store. But because LA wore them one day, they'll prolly sell a million of them.

Not as ugly as Hincappie's glasses.

Amen that brother.

Lance was wearing, I think, M-frames for Alpe D'Huez. They must be lighter.

georgie wears some ugly shades, but somehow they fit him. i just thought those zeros look like something my grandmother would wear. in the 70s.

I actually love the front of the Zeros, but the sides are terrible. I'll stick with my X-Metals.

You know they're Oakleys just because LA said that he'd stick with them forever because they stuck with him when he got sick, along with Nike and Giro.

But they are ugly, ain't they? They look like the plastic film thing the eye doc gives you after dilating your pupils.

So the consensous is that these are not the most attractive piece of eyewear on the market. So what do you wear?

I have three pair of cycling glasses:

Rudy Project Kerosene Carbon/Silver Smoke and Rose lenses
Rudy Project Ekynox Blue w/blue lenses and Amber lenses
Oakley M Frames perl white with blue eartips Ice Iridium and Clear lenses

I'd wear the dartboards though. they aren't that bad looking. However, I like my m-frames, though. they are comfy, light, good optical quality, and I can see out of the sides well.

I have a pair of oakley Juliets with ice lenses, a pair of M frames with 5 lenses, a pair of half jackets with 3 lenses, a pair of raceing Jackets, a pair of twenties and two pairs of coasta del mar's. By far the best for cycling are the raceing jackets hands down

I have a different view, I think the Zeros are cool. They look nice, but maybe one has to try wearing them. If it fits the face, and it looks good, why not? It's really not about the looks of sunglasses but how well they can complement you.
