I'm not sure of the model or size but I came my gf's father got this Bianchi (looks to be the Centenario) from his boss.

aweful pic I know, but it seems to be in good condition and after a trip from Santa Monica to Boston he had the frame chromed, supposedly he did this at 70 y/o, everything looks to be in good shape. Anyone have an idea of how much this would be worth? I want to buy it off of him and I'd hate to low ball him.

I found a better pic of something similar

they are marginally similar...

Back to the Bianchi: the Bianchi looks like a small bike (49ish cm size or so), has a touring/entry/sports geometry, what looks like an aluminum frame (ok, I am probably wrong with this) and a tape job on an aero bar...

Hard to valuate with no more info and better pictures of the components and the frame...

Hi we certainly need pics but I do not think that Bianchi is a Centenario. for starters the fork is worng. your bike appears to have a unicrown fork as opposed to the Columbus SLX w/investment cast crown. the components are different. near as I can tell you bike has shimano rather than, Campagnolo Corsa Record groupo. the front derailluer on your bike is a clamp on not a braze on type. lastly it appears in that pic that your bike has brazeons for fenders or racks on the seat stays a Centenario would not have these.

Having a bike repainted or even chromed can sometimes hurt the value of the bike. a unique bike like a Centenario looses it's provenance after such a process. once the original finish is changed there is little to determine the pedigree of the frame. and if the components are changed then it is no longer the same.

if that Bianchi rides well and the index shifting works give him $200.

thanks guys, I'll work on better pics. unfortunately my passion is with motorcycles so I'm pretty ignorant on this subject, I just love being on two wheels :)
