Fellow biking connoseurs,
For the fourth consecutive year, El Reto de los Volcanes (“El Reto”) offers participants a unique and challenging stage race that incorporates epic climbs with singletrack and technical downhills.
Costa Rica´s racer-friendliest event takes place April 9 - 11, 2010 and on each state racers will visit five volcanoes, ride in several protected forested areas and in limited-access cloudforest singletrack.
In 2010 the last stage ends at in a natural hot springs resort on the slopes of Arenal Volcano (Costa Rica's most active volcano).
