Hopefully he actually publishes the plan and the software open source... I'd love to build me one of those (have to get a new bike just to do it, but hey, that would be worth it, right?)

BTW - the Popular Science link from his site has an illustration of what it looks like, and video of it in action...

Wow, my 4 favorite things in one place: bike, Powerbook, iPod, and anti-Bush sentiment. Thanks for making my day!

Man, that story was awesome-tastic!

Thanks for sharing that.... I did write on the guys blog and tell him he should use a Fixed Gear Bike to allow him a more constant speed and better control... although I am trying to picture what the purists would say about riding a fixed gear, stripped down and simple, with $5,000 worth of computer equiptment strapped to it. hahahahaha

thanks again!

If he goes to the Republican National Convention with his protest bike, here is the obvious scenario:

1. Begin spray sequence in order to exercise his right to free speech
2. Beaten down by cops who sight his weapon of mass bike-struction (hey, it worked once!)
3. Taken to Guantanamo Bay where he is never heard from again
4. The end

Sad, but you know it's true!

Did you know we now have "free speech" zones? Even at the Dem convention....it was a fenced compound with razor wire under an overpass. I kid you not. I'll bet the Republicans have something even worse. Dang, I thought the whole country was a free speech zone...oh, heck, that was before Bush & Ashecroft...
