I am down to 196lbs as of this morning. I can remember thinking at 6'1" 215lbs would be just about right but I now realize it was just a starting point. I'm looking to hit 180lbs by end of summer.

I am 5'10 and at 231 now, down from 265 at the beginning of the year. My goal is to be at 218 to 220 by August when I do Mt Washington.... Typically I have about 3,000+ feet climbing on a 35 to 45 mile ride. There are several 10% grades in the area, some hitting 1 mile long, the long grinds are tougher to me but the short step ones are not much of an issues. a couple of them hit 20% to 24% (according to my garmin anyway). For me the key to the longer ones is to sit back and spin up the hill. For the most part tho, it is mental issue.
