I don't have any problem with it. However, my current stem does.

The Lino bars from Chari and Co. come in ano'd black, but they appear to be somewhere in between the EighthInch bars and the Dedas in terms of shape.

I think they only come in chrome in that size. I may be wrong.

I had the Deda alloy drops for 31.8mm and honestly dude, I never could find a use for them for my 1" setup.

Sold them and got B125's.

If worse comes to worse you can always get B123 or B125's and wrap em up to the stem in black grip tape.

Get some road bars. Riding on tops will be much more comfy since it's flat. Who cares about going for that "sweet" track look, get what's comfy

You got a point, but it is starting to get colder and I think track season is over :p (but then again he may be near an indoor track so I should just shut up now)

anyone consider that track racers use ergo drops too?

anyone consider that bar choice is a personal preference? why do you think they make so many different types of handlebars so many different ways? I used to use track drops on the street and felt perfectly comfortable riding in the drops, just because some people don't utilize the drops in the street doesn't mean you should assume a certain bar type will fit their riding style. this guy is looking for something specific, so I assume he knows what he likes to ride with.

That is a big assumption for bike forums. Most likely he just likes the look. Riding in the drops in not the problem, riding on the tops is. If you have indeed rode track drops on the street you will be able to attest to the fact that it is not an idle positions. Having your wrist in this position WILL lead to numbness after a long ride. One easy way to fix this problem is just to get rode drops. This way the guy will have multiple usable positions and will look nearly the same to the untrained eye. I can tell you when I do ride with my track drops I get more compliments on my bike, but when riding my horns my wrists love me.

Nice statement dude, very ironic. Also, "rode" = road.

I have B125's and don't have any of the problems you describe above. My Nitto rb-021's give me numbness, my rb-018's don't, and my B259 risers are obviously the easiest on the wrists. Every person has their own unique anatomy. Road drops look like a square next to track drops anyway, the aesthetic is awful.

Very true indeed. The example you gave of the risers being good for you is spot on. I had to ditch my risers because they caused a ton of wrist pain for me. The flat bullhorns I replaced the risers with are ten time more comfortable for me than risers.

whos to say that you shouldn't run track drops on the street? what doesn't work for you might work for someone else. these forums are a joke. people like alexgate and astronomical seem to perpetually talk **** about whatever, whenever they can. "you can't do that." "you're a poser if you do that." "i don't do that, so that's dumb."

why don't you guys relax a little bit? the title of the thread isn't "should i ride my deda pista's on the street", it's "what are some bars similar to deda pistas?". who cares what the guy does! if he's thinking of doing something with his bike, give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he knows what he's doing. maybe, just maybe, he loves track drops, and has no problems riding them. maybe he even rides in a real live velodrome!

the point is, http://i3.ytimg.com/vi/zU_bIz9d7fQ/default.jpg

now for actual info - i'm almost certain nitto b123s were already mentioned. also, there's nitto adb-x. cinelli makes pista bars as well, but i'm not sure how great they are since i don't know of a lot of people running them.

a better question would be: since the velocity deep v is a such a heavy, crappy rim, is it possible for there to be worse knockoffs, or would knockoffs actually be better than the original product?

With classy post like this I understand where you are coming from
