Blood sausage, of course.

Don't forget the baked beans as part of the daily breakfast!

I'm 100% sure it has something to do with the bad teeth. :twitchy: ;)

We may have to cut a few open to find out.

My english mom has been known to eat beans on toast. Not sure how they came up with that one.

It's the HP sauce. I eat it, too, so maybe I count!

based on most british cuisine, that's one of the better choices.

I do that with leftover beans form that nights dinner, but they have to be really good beans! :thumb: FTR, I'm not English. :)

One of my closest friends in this world is English by birth, but grew up in Texas. We roomed together in college. Thousands on a raft, Toad in the Hole, cannot remember some of the others, but the English have some good names for stuff like beans on toast.

I could handle any and all of that stuff. What I could not manage would be the endless cuppa. Why use tea as a pretext for eating odd foods?

Reminds me of one wag's definition of "hell": That place where the French are the engineers, the Italians are the bureaucrats, the Germans are the lovers and the British are the cooks.

I think the giant just meant humans in general are some good eatins'. However, I'm drinking tea as we speak!

there is nothing wrong with endless cups of tea. I like toad in the hole, spotted dick, bubble and squeak, black pudding and baked beans on toast.

It's the food of champions. nothing wrong with it at all.:p

OOOooh bubble and squeak. Droool.

However, the vast majority of English food is gag worthy. Lard and boiled tomatoes on toast? Retch. However, we Canadians have adopted their habit of putting vinegar on french fries and that rules! :D

I'm drinking more tea...I have enough British ancestry I love the stuff.

We're almost on the same page. I'd say nothing wrong with the food at all, that couldn't be fixed with a rich, hot cup of coffee.
