Foo - Songs you just can't help but love

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

This song is currently stuck in my head...

The Courteeners - Not Nineteen Forever (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOPB4yRvXvk)

...trying to get your attention all night long
asked you once, i asked you twice, asked you four times
if you’d like to dance to that song from (?)
down the stairs and then i followed you out in the rain
nowhere to be found, never mind
you’ll probably never look that pretty again...

greg lake...way underrated vocalist. the vocals on king crimson's in the court of the crimson king
are simple gorgeous. much of his elp stuff (especially this song) not too shabby either.

Who the hell got to you people and what exactly did the corkscrew lobotomy achieve beyond oogy-fying your sense of women's musical taste. In my first serious relationship, "our song" was "I might like you better if we slept together" by Romeo Void. Anything by Roxy Music was a guaranteed score (I know women who admit to never having listened to Avalon in its entirety while clothed). Play Prince but know that you're promising to deliver an "A" game--anything else looks lame. Berlin is a good 80's choice. Barry White has sadly become cliche and thus to be avoided. Macy Gray remains cool, particularly the first album. So much for "mood music." Sadly, most of today's modern emo c&@pola just don't pitch enough true emotion to let her feel she's connecting to YOU which is the objective. Think of how you'd feel watching "Love Story." Now stop laughing and remember the kick in the n#tz you felt watching "Old Yeller." That's what's real. Listen to Warren Zevon's last album (the one he recorded knowing he was dying). Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt." That'll show her some depth. Just remember, if you try to mix in any Ne Yo, Chris Brown, or any song where any chick is called "shorty," God will anoint a random badger to **** a kitten.
