I think the answer is yes, based on the internet reading I've done, but I thought I'd check here as well.
Can I run a 1/8" chain on a 3/32" freewheel? Is this a bad idea?
Basically, I want to run a 1/8" track crank up front and my freewheel is spec'ed 3/32". Again, I think the answer is yes, I just want to check.

On a single speed freewheel, then yes you can. Not on a multi speed one.

Yes, it's a single speed set up.
As I stated above, wanting to run a 1/8" compatible track crank / chainring up front with a freewheel that is supposed to have a 3/32" chain on it. Hoping to run a 1/8" chain across this set up.
