Foo - Cheap Glove Dryer

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ahhh... this morning's ride was about 35 degrees. It's that terrible temperature when regular bike gloves are not enough and full fingered gloves are too much. I picked the full finger gloves because it less uncomfortable to be too warm rather than too cold.
The problem is that my hands sweat and get the gloves all wet inside. It wasn't real pleasant when I went out to lunch. When I returned, I made a glove dryer in my office. If anyone would like instructions on how to make it, I am selling the parts (Not including the fan) and instructions for $19.95. You have your choice of the eco-friendly version that is 98% recycled. The tree hugger hippie version is 100% recycled materials. Used chewing gum replaces the tape.
100% of my profit will go to shiny new things for my bike.

I wouldn't take your bulk for free, much less pay for it. I wouldn't mind a handy glove dryer though. :innocent:

Couldn't you just fart into the glove and then light it?
I have a definite mix of different gloves for the various weather I ride in. This time a year gets a little tricky - I'm usually in a decent full finger glove - gets colder - and my hands sweat more - I'll add a bicycle glove liner underneath the gloves (which reminds me I can only find one, grrr need to order more) - saves the glove from getting sweaty and most times I flip them inside out to dry - or flip them inside out during a long ride to keep the sweat away from hands. Early last winter I did a long ride - and on the way home stopped at a few stores (forgot glove liners) and had on the big winter lobster claw gloves that were sweaty - my hands froze and I ran into the house nearly in tears my hands hurt so bad from the cold.

Look... I found this on the interwebs:

Guess what the price is? $19.95? NO WAY!!! It is $89.95. You guys all go ahead and get ripped off. I'll be sitting here with my environmentally friendly glove dryer while you use this one which pumps poison gas into your gloves while you sleep. Then, when you wipe the snot from your nose...BANG! You're dead. Is that what you want?
You can either use mine and live or buy another one and die. It's up to you.
