Mountain Biking - Mountain Bike Configurator?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi! Is there some website where you can check boxes for any given mtb loadout, and it spits out a list of complete bikes that match the specs?
That would be awesome and relieve the burden on the experts here answering questions like mine.
If there isn't such a thing, I'm pondering the following:
29er
mechanical disc brakes
single speed but able to accept a front derailleur
reasonable suspension fork
hardtail
Does NOT have to be a "ZOMG lighter than a catfart" magical unobtainium alloy.
Durable
Cheap
I'm hoping to find something that matches these specs as a 2009 closeout.
Any ideas?

or a surley karate monkeyAren't the Monocog and Karate Monkey both rigid? Redline D600 is front-suspended. In the same price neighnorhood is the Kona Kahuna - - but you'll have to settle for hydraulic discs ;).
Hey Doug...the D600 has a Dart...bleh. D660 is Reba'd.
Here ya go OP:

Redline D660. It's a 1x9 (one-by-nine) which means it has one chainring up front and 9 in the back with a rear derailleur. So you have a nice middle ground with a less cluttered bike, cleaner looking, lighter, yet you still have a few gears to choose from.
Another thought is to do what a local boy 'round here did and that's to get a Redline Monocog flight SS (http://www.redlinebicycles.com/bikes/mtb/2010-monocog-flight-29er) and throw a decent suspension fork on it.

Where can I get a bike with a rigid front fork (a rigid lefty preferred), suspension rear, 29" wheel up front, 26" wheel in back, V brake on the front, disk on the back, riser bar on the left, flat bar on the right, one clipless pedal and one platform pedal, 10 speed rear der, no front der, steel frame...

Come on, Chris_F, I'm a newb trying to learn this stuff. :)
Any word on how much the D660 will retail for? Google (well, Froogle anyway) doesn't seem to know. I'm trying to keep it well under $1000 all in, but the LBSs are friendly/pushing me to something much more expensive. At the end of the day, though, I don't really NEED a featherweight machine with hydro discs.

You do. You just don't know it yet.
MSRP on the D660 is $1,599.
