This would be pretty awesome if they got this started, even if it was a rolling neighborhood event at first.

If this happens, it would be a boon for cycling in Los Angeles. I live 10 minutes from downtown, but rarely bike there. I've only ridden through boyle heights only once. I would definitely participate.

Awesome idea! The key for this idea to fly is to get buy-in form the downtown politicos, (and lots of photo ops for Tony V...). Sounds like cycLAvia is off to a good start.
