hello. i just picked up a complete guerciotti with a 6 speed 105 group from a goodwill auction for FIVE DOLLARS!! the frame is in decent shape aside from a few small, but nasty rust spots. i'm contemplating either fixing the few rust spots and trying to match the original paint or am thinking of just getting the entire frame stripped and powdercoated. i am curious if anyone knows where i could find a new decal set for the frame. i'd rather find a NOS set, rather than contacting a custom place. this is what my frame looks like, though my paint scheme is blue, white, and red:

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Man, you are one lucky fella. A green guerciotti frame and fork only sold on ebay for more than $500 recently.

i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it there. i just found a place outside of boulder, co that has some decals. i stripped the bike down and set it up as a fixie until i get the decals and paint. i'll probably post some pictures of it set up as a fixie in the singlespeed forum.

You may be surprised to know that the particular frameset is now owned by me. I have yet to build it up and am awaiting a few parts. I have a couple of other Guerciotti frames to send out for restoration and decals. The set of decals you are seeking can be found from time to time on Ebay. One seller was selling these on a regular basis from his own personal supply. At the time I thought they were expensive ($45.00), but now consider them economical. Decals are or can be the hardest item to find for classic restoration work, however there is a growing interest in restoration and there are many more restoration specialsts appearing all the time and the decals are being reproduced.
