Hello All,
Would someone mind letting me know if I can use suspension oil for a motorcycle fork in my Rockshox SID World Cup? I found some 5 wt and 15 wt. One technician mentioned that I need to be concerned about additives that might ruin the seals?
Thanks in advance !

Yes, you can. Most MTB "fork oil" is relabeled moto oil anyhow, from a variety of different brands, depending on the fork company.
I've found Golden Spectro to be readily and cheaply available, and works very well in my Rock Shox forks.
You can also get a 1000ml bottle of moto oil for way less money than the little puny bottle of "fork oil" from the bike shock companies. Then you've got it hanging around for several oil change cycles.

Side note on Moto fork oil:
I once asked at the motorbike shop what they thought of mixing 5 and 10W Spectros to arrive at the 7.5 that Marzocchi advocates. Sounded good to them and I've been using this color blended solution successfully ever since.
