Southeast - Heading to Atlanta weekend of November 14th. Any rides

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Coming down weekend of the 14th to visit friends. Looking for some sort of group ride on Saturday morning. Anyone know of anything going on? Thanks.
Here's the SBL ride calendar for the 14th. No big rides. Just the usual Saturday rides but they're always fun and some can be challenging.

Lots of options -- probably depends on what part of town you'll be in. Here are a couple of options (the first one is my every-Saturday ride)
Dunwoody Cycling - 7:30 am Saturday
URL: DunwoodyCycling.Org
Meet at Dunwoody High School parking lot on the corner of Vermack and Womack for a fast paced ride. “A Group” is a 40 mile ride at a 20 mph, “hang or drop” pace. If you get dropped, you can wait for the “B Group” to pick you up. “B Group” is a 34 mile ride at a 15 mph average pace.
(The following 2 rides leave from same place @ same time, I haven't done either)
Atlanta Cycling-"Vinings Loop" - 10 am Saturday
20 mile ride around Buckhead and Sandy Springs. Low traffic, painted route. Lunch following next door. Store located 1/2 mile north of Chatt. River at 4335 Cobb Pkwy. Atlanta Cycling, Inc. 770-952-7731. For more information, email AtlantaCycling.com.
Atlanta Cycling-Vinings "Beyond Six Flags" - 10am Saturday
Please join us for a 40 or 53 mile ride on rural roads following an out and back painted route. Lunch following next door. Store located 1/2 mile north of Chatt. River at 4335 Cobb Pkwy. Atlanta Cycling, Inc. 770-952-7731. For more information, email AtlantaCycling.com.
(this last one is for serious racer types)
Tucker Ride-Strenuous/Training.
Meets at 10 am during EST at Tucker High School on Lavista Road. "Show what you are made of!" Rides from Tucker to Stone Mountain and back. VERY fast pace, 24 mph++. Terrain is hilly.

I'll probably do that first ride. I'm staying in Buckhead with a friend. Is the 20mph pace a good estimate for the front group? Thanks.

Yes, probably so. I ride at front of B group and avg 18.
I won't be there 11/14, but this past Saturday we had about 45 ppl (split 25/75 betw A/B). Nice day, great ride.
At least the tropical storm will be gone and the roads will be dry. :thumb:
Here's another list of rides to check out.

Hope the weather is nice. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people and getting a good ride in that morning.
