Just got word that one of my friends at work had a heart attack today. he coded twice at the ER and then twice again in surgery. They brought him back all four times. He is in critical but stable condition, in the ICU. This is a guy that took me under his wing when I was a probie, and I had my first fire with him. His family and I are really close....any prayers right now would be so appreciated, he has a wife and four kids...thanks everyone...

That's really scary and stressful stuff. I'll definitely say a prayer for the guy and his family. Glad to hear that he's stable.

Just want give a HUGE thanks for everyones thoughts...got an update this morning, hes not out of the woods yet, still heavily sedated, but they took out the balloons, and as it seems now, there is a good chance for recovery. just keeping my fingers crossed right now, but things seem good all things considered.

Wow. A person dedicated to saving lives and now he is struggling with his own. Crazy, isn't it?

Lots of prayers for Jon and his family. Prayers for the doctors and the nurses that will help him through this. And prayers for you, C...be strong for him and for the others at work who I know are feeling the sadness radiating throughout your station.
