A couple rubber bands should do. Or go get some really big O-rings if you want to get upscale :)

It's OK. No adjustment, but I don't have too much trouble finding a good place on the helmet to achieve good aim. I leave the strap on the helment and remove the flashlight for daylight commute to work

For mounting you can use the Bikeblocks, parallel mounting, same company that sells the Lockblocks for the handlebars.. Or the Zefal Doodad works great too..

Is that the same as a TwoFish mount except smaller (less height to the plastic, perhaps shorter wrap)?

I use a Fenix L2D on my helmet and attach it with a 2Fish mount that I bought from them at the same time. They sell two different 2Fish mounts, one for handlebars and another for helmets.

Yes, LD20 mounted to the skull bucket. Free mounting via... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrfZhEzjWwg
Works wonders. :)
One thing though. If you are to ride in the rain and/or fog, you'll be able to see much better if the light is mounted to the SIDE of the helmet, or the handle bars. When mounted straight on top, the reflections off the rain/fog will be right in front of you face. So like a car or motorcycle, mounting the light below your eyes will lessen the glare greatly. If you never ride in these conditions, ignore what I've said. :)
Oh, and please don't point your head at on coming, or any traffic for that reason, they'll be blinded, causing them to perhaps run your sorry bum over. :(

No it is not.. The doodad sits closer to the helmet while the bikeblock is a much bigger mount.. Both work equally well..
