I should know better than this.
But after getting "hit" by a car two days ago (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=600084), then being nearly killed by a bike salmon and a "not-looking" bicyclist riding through a pedestrian crosswalk I had to vent, and the most anonymous way I could think to do it was to let loose a little venom on Craigslist.
Always entertaining to hear the responses.
This was not my OP, but I responded to it because it seemed like someone who was not a bicyclist actually realizing that you can criticize the idiotic behavior of some cyclists without "they're all idiots" or "they should all be killed".

Strangely, the worst offender as far as posts go come from another "cyclist". Here's a wonderful sample of his wisdom.

This post is what led me to make a little angrier post later in the thread. WOW.
Clearly CL Rants and Raves is sort of the dregs of cyber-society, however, like roadkill at the side of the road I can't help but look.
If a place like Corvallis can't get bicycling right, I don't know where it is possible. That being said, I defer to a previous posters' wisdom concerning this town: "It is Corvallis, after all".

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
