Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'll be driving from LA down to San Diego for 2-3 days this upcoming week. If anyone could recommend some nice 40-50 mile type hilly rides, or even better, some bike clubs that do weekday rides that I could hook up with in the SD area, would be awesome. Thx

what part of San Diego?
Coast Highway is the easy pick... head north until you want to turn around...
if you want hills, there are plenty of routes to choose from, all to the east of the coast... :D

The Mt Laguna area offers great rides. Want a good climb? Try Pine Creek Road instead of Sunrise Highway. You can easily get some long rides out that way, with scenic views and decent roads. If you have a CX bike, so many more options are available.

Mtn bikes are good for lower Noble Canyon, other than that, haven't found a trail yet I couldn't ride CX on up there (haven't ridden into Cuyamaca, yet). Still, lots of fun to be had up there.
