Hybrid Bicycles - Anybody heard of Phil Roggers bikes?

Picked this bike up at a benefit sale today for $7 and think I got an amazing deal, but when I try to search online for them, all I come up with is one hit....in German! Anybody know anything about these bikes? The model I got is called a Palute. I attached a link to a picture of it....any info would be awesome!

Well if it's anything like German cars it must be fairly well engineered. Looks like 7 dollars well spent nevertheless!

The picture looks good. Don't see how you can go wrong for $7.
