I bought my new bike (Trek 7200) on september 7th of this year, I ride at least 5 days a week and at least 10 miles every time I ride. I also try to go on at least one 20 or 30 mile per week.My longest ride so far was 40.2 miles two Sundays ago.

I'm 51 years old and haven't been on a bicycle for 30 years. When I bought the Trek I was over the top on a 350 pound doctors scale. With in a few days Of riding I weighed in at 348. Today I'm 315.

My goals are to get the weight down to at least 250. Ride my age on my birthday (May 21) and complete a century by the end of next summer.

Today I rode 33 miles. One for every pound that I have lost so far.

Way to go!

I'm losing weight after about a month of riding but its real slow cause I'm having hard time with the food part.. Not the biking part, going at least every other day if not every day!
