Once in a while if I take a long nap in the afternoon I'll wake up feeling depressed. It happened today. After I got up and moved around I felt fine. It doesn't happen very often. Maybe a couple of times a year. Anyone ever experience this?

Usually it's the other way around for me.

Nahh I avoid napping during the day at all costs since I can never sleep properly at night if I nap at odd hours.

My guess is you somehow lost oxygen, breathing funny or something. Also it might be blood sugars messing with you.

If I decide to take an afternoon nap on a day when I'm not working, then I try to limit it to 20-45 minutes. If I fall asleep for much longer than an hour I tend to wake up feeling groggy and worse off than I did before the nap.

I usually nap very briefly every day. Like 5-10 minutes usually after work. More than that and it messes me up.

Do you get proper sleep at night? You shouldn't need to nap so much, I don't think.
