At 5'7" that frame size is doable for me. And with $90 in my bank account and $2,235 that people owe me for work that I've done, it's just annoyingly out of reach.

First I would have my thighs shortened so I could ride it...then I would have my shoes and shorts permanently affixed to the pedals and saddle...and I would ride it everywhere, never dismounting--restaurants, movie theaters, bowling. Why does such beauty make me irrational?

WOW! That fork is beautiful! And the frame is just around my size too! And if I had that kind of money to throw around, I'd be all over that! Damn, damn, damn!
Thanks, 165, you're the best!
Thankfully, this is a bit too big.

uhm..why? I have the same fork and its pretty boring looking. I like
the straight colnago more. or is it just the chrome?
Ah - had. Not only do I have the money - it's my frickin' size, okay maybe 1 or 2 cm shorter but I could swing it for that beauty.
What the hell is it doing in Singapore?

I should close the thread! No commentary is needed, just as you said!
:D
Just kidding, but it is a beautiful bike! If only I wasn't cursed with being so short, I'd do the buy it now! My bike frame is 49 cm, so it's a wee bit too big for me. Too bad, I was thinking about getting a track bike and going fixie for a while this winter!

man, why did I buy that new computer?!... why?
Any of you actually a little concerned that it's in singapore? Kind of looks like a scam to me. But whatever, I know that picture is real and it sure looks mighty nice. I bet it would look 100 times as good if I was riding it.
Well, I read the dude's profile. He's a power seller, and you don't get there by being a scam artist. Besides, he's only had one negative in the last 6 months, which is pretty good, and when you look at his past sales, you can see he's shipped other things of the same value and sometimes greater value. I'd buy it if it were the right size for sure. Besides, if he's trying to break the law in Singapore, he'd get caned for sure! :D

i dont think it matters that the frame is too short for most of us.... its not meant to ride, just hang on my wall, or sleep next to in my bed... and name it, and walk it... and love it.

I emailed the guy asking for other sizes if he has any. Too bad, I would have snatched it outright if it was my size.

The buyers name is seth_is_lovely and my name is seth. So I'm sitting here trying to figure out who bought it for me. Sure it's too small, but I'm sure I'll cope. It is lovely though and it went for a nice price too.

Seth is gonna look lovely on that ride!

You should get the track bike before winter to get used to it, then use it through the winter...
Actually, you should get a beater and fix it through the winter.
If ChiTown's anything like Mpls, it will do you a lot of good. I'll never ride a freewheel on snow/ice again...
If I had that frame, it would need a vacation to Florida to see the roads this winter...

Definattly the chrome and the engravings are cool. I have a chrome steel fork on my fixie and chromed rear stays it looks like a pimped out 57 chevy of a bike...
