Great Lakes - Looking for 2010 24hr race

Hello,

I have a group of friends up here in Ontario, Canada and we are looking to go on a road trip and do a 24 hr race in the US in 2010.

I am having trouble finding a list of races, so if you happen to know where there is a list or if you could suggest a race around the Great Lakes, it would be greatly appreciated.

I found the 9-mile but was wondering if there are others.

There is also a 24-hour race in Afton, Minn. in early August if you're looking to keep it "close" to Canada. http://www.salsa24fest.com/

Wisconsin runs a series of 12 hour MTB races well during the summer. Neat series, pretty small turn out at some events. www.wemseries.com (http://www.wemseries.com)

I did 9 mile last year as well as a couple WEMS events (team) and liked them. I'll do 9-mile (team) again this year.

@porkchop thanks! I'll check out the Salsa one. We are definitely looking to keep it close to Canada. Western NY would be ideal.

There are a number of 24 hour mountain bike races in Michigan next summer. The 24 hours of Boyne is May 29-30th in Boyne Falls Michigan. There are also a few farther south later in the summer. Search 24 hour Michigan mountain bike races and you will find a few, like the link below:
