And it sure is nice, isn't it?
Nothing like that inner peaceful feeling.
Appreciate what you have, learn from others, give what you can of yourself, be good to yourself. Love others. Celebrate the little things. Bask in the glory of life.
Don't let ugliness get you down.
And gooooooooo with the flowwwwwww.

When you only have what little you do, take it and make the best use of it. Find your inner peace and it will be all quiet on YOUR western front.

All you need now is a hot bubble bath with a nice bourbon and you'll be complete.

:)You know what, Siu... I've been pretty stressed due to being so very busy with school but I'm going to remember these words for a while. I need to stop every once and a while and appreciate what I have and "smell the roses", you know?
Thanks for posting this.

I always love to share...:)
Ms gio, I've taken this attitude seriously for a while now and thinking back into the past I have realized all of the wasted energy I have spent on the negative. Although there are times of frustration, it will quickly leave with the realization that it is non productive. I've found that in time, all of our rewards will come to us if we are patient, are truly honest with ourselves and live life in peace and with understanding and compassion towards others. Doing your best with what you have and what you know is right without selfishness is what I found was key.

Thanks for this, Siu! I forget sometimes, of how rewarding it can be just to stop for a moment to just breathe and be. We all need a reminder at times.

But Siu, I thought you have been helping out in P & R. Where is this Western Front you speak of?!
Yeah, you're right Siu. I grabbed my uke and went to the park and sat by pond. It is nice to go someplace quiet and just reflect on where you've been, where you are and where you're going.

From "The Rats, The Bats, and The Ugly"
Maybe the average young girl didn't speak of chainsaws in the same way, but Virginia felt that that was their loss. As fashion accessories they had the edge on nearly anything else, when it came to getting you a lot of attention. And respect.

And sometimes we need that balance. Puts us at our base again. :thumb:
Siu, Machka and I were talking about administrators tonight, and how there has been a succession of them, some female who didn't exactly leave a good impresson or just couldn't handle the pressure.
We agreed that you would be a stayer simply because you have and express this sort of approach to things.
Well done.
