I just picked this up off craigslist and I think I got a good deal. Unfortunately, the bike or at least parts of it will have to go back to CL or ebay cause I'm unemployed and flipping for cash right now.
I'd like some help identifying the year and a value of the bike as a whole and the value of some of the components. I found the '87 and '89 catalogs online but they didn't have this color scheme.
What I'd love to do is sell the race/tt specific parts, but hold on to the frame, so I can build to fit my riding style (street/commuting/weekend rides) when I have the cash to play with it. But if it's more valuable as a unit, then I'll have to sell it that way. Would it ever be possible to have matched wheels on it, both 700c or 26"?
Here's what I know about the bike:
It was traded between three friends who raced it and it has been sitting in a garage for the past 5 years. It has some wear, scratches and nicks;the worst is on the left side of the bottom bracket, and the white pinarello decals don't look stock.
